The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust wish to appoint a permanent, full-time KS2 Teacher with whole school curriculum leadership responsibility at Holden Clough Primary School, Ashton-Under-Lyne.
This post is offered on the Main Pay Scale to Upper Pay Scale (M1–UPS3), £32,916 – £51,048 per annum, depending on experience, with an additional TLR 2a payment of £3,527 per annum in recognition of the leadership responsibility attached to the role.
We are seeking an excellent classroom practitioner to join Holden Clough Primary School as a Class Teacher with responsibility for leading and overseeing the whole school curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to broaden their leadership experience within a supportive, forward thinking school and Trust.
The role includes a full teaching commitment alongside statutory weekly PPA time. In addition to this, the successful candidate will have a half day leadership commitment each week, separate from PPA, to undertake their curriculum leadership role. This time will be focused on driving curriculum development, ensuring coherence and progression across subjects, and contributing to whole school improvement priorities.

Curriculum Leadership (Half day per week)
• Lead and oversee the whole school curriculum, ensuring coherence, progression and ambition across all subjects
• Drive curriculum development and improvement in line with the school’s vision and Trust priorities
• Monitor and support high quality curriculum implementation across the school
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support planning, consistency and impact
• Contribute to evaluation and refinement of curriculum design to secure strong outcomes for pupils
PPA
• Statutory weekly PPA in line with STPCD
• Time protected to support planning, assessment and preparation
